The 1800TATLINE Movie is an in-progress project fueled by my passion for storytelling, tattooing, and love for the arts: A testament to the power of community and the resilience of the human spirit. Through sharing documentary-style footage surrounding the creation of the paintings, the 1800TATLINE showcase events, interviews sharing tattoo philosophy, live tattooing sessions, sharing the stories and perspective of the community involved, and behind-the-scenes footage of the entire project, viewers are invited to explore the beauty and complexity of our love for the almost lost-art of flash painting, and its place in modern culture.

This vision was initiated in the summer of 2022 by documenting both the creation and celebration of a collection of these contemporary paintings crafted in the lowbrow folk-art during the 1800TATLINE Showcase events.
